Darky Ryu es un banco de voz disponible de manera oficial para el software de síntesis de voz "UTAU", siendo lanzado en Mayo del año 2015.
Actualmente posee 4 VBs (Bancos de Voz) para el idioma japonés, siendo en su mayoría lanzados para la serie The Melody Of The Wolf (La Melodía Del Lobo). Tanto la voz, como la producción y el arte fueron proveídos por DarkDragon563.
A partir de 2017, se creó una comunidad grupal para FURloid Malaysia, DigitalFur-Lab, de quien Darky Ryu forma parte.

Se prevé la expansión de las capacidades del personaje al integrar la capacidad de poder cantar en los idiomas inglés y chino, sin embargo no se ha lanzado.
Darky Ryu es un lobo joven adulto negro grisáceo al que le encanta comer helado. Es un lobo de complexión musculosa. Al principio, su nombre original era "DarkDragon563 (en forma de lobo)" en unos bancos de voz de CV y otro de CVVC. En mayo de 2015, se lanzó el banco de voz VCV y el nombre cambió oficialmente a "Darky Ryu".
Darky Ryu cuenta con su propia serie de libros, los cuales relatan su historia.
La historia del origen de Darky Ryu narra su vida antes de que se envolviera en el mundo del canto (cuando trabajaba como diseñador de arte e ingeniero al mismo tiempo). La historia empieza cuando Darky Ryu trabajaba en cierto lugar a tiempo parcial, en ese momento se rindió en hacer un trabajo de arte que le diera "esperanza" a la gente. Darky Ryu is a young adult grayish-black wolf who loves eating ice cream. He has a muscular build. Originally, his name was "DarkDragon563 (wolf form)" in some CV and CVVC voicebanks. In May 2015, the VCV voicebank was released and the name officially changed to "Darky Ryu".
Darky Ryu has his own book series that tells his story.
The origin story of Darky Ryu covers his life before he got involved in the world of singing (when he worked as an art designer and engineer at the same time). The story begins when Darky Ryu was working part-time somewhere and had given up on creating artwork that would give people "hope", until he met someone who changed his life. The first chapter of the comic consists of 20 episodes and was released in July 2016 in English and Japanese.
